Product Description

Globe valve is a forced-sealed valve. Its closure element (disc) moves linearly up and down along the centerline of the seat, achieving medium shut-off and flow regulation through tight contact between the disc and seat. Installation must follow the flow direction of low inlet and high outlet.

It features short opening/closing stroke, reliable sealing and good regulation performance, but has relatively high fluid resistance. It is widely used in pipeline systems in petroleum, chemical, power, municipal and other industries.

Nominal Diameter (DN): DN10 DN600 mm (larger or smaller sizes customizable)

Nominal Pressure (PN/Class): PN1.6 PN32.0 MPa (Class 150 1500) (higher or lower pressures customizable)

Operating Temperature: Carbon steel: -29 425; Stainless steel: -196 550; High-temperature alloy: up to 600+ (customizable)

Test Pressure: Shell: 1.5 Nominal Pressure; Seal: 1.1 Nominal Pressure

Leakage Class: Metal seal: ANSI B16.104 Class IV; Soft seal: Class VI (bubble-tight/zero leakage), customizable

Design & Manufacturing Standards: Design & production: GB/T 12235; Face-to-face dimension: GB/T 12221 (customizable)

Disc/Seat

Common materials: 2Cr13; 304/316; Stellite hardfacingApplicable service conditions: Stellite for metal-to-metal sealing; PTFE insert for soft sealing

Stem

Common materials: 2Cr13; 1Cr18Ni9Ti; 316; nitrided / chromium-plated treatmentApplicable service conditions: Wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, anti-galling

Packing/Seal

Common materials: Graphite packing (high temperature); PTFE packing (general / low temperature); bellows seal (zero leakage, toxic media)Applicable service conditions: Graphite packing for high temperature; PTFE packing for general/low temperature; bellows seal for zero leakage and toxic media

Superior Sealing Performance

Equipped with bellows seal technology, these globe valves ensure zero leakage even under harsh conditions, significantly minimizing maintenance frequency. The choice of metal hard seals with Stellite hardfacing or soft PTFE inserts guarantees reliable operation whether managing corrosive chemicals or high-pressure steam. This construction is ideal for industries with stringent safety and purity demands.

Flexible Material and Size Options

Offered in WCB, CF8, CF8M, and WC6 constructions, the valve can withstand a broad spectrum of temperatures and media. Sizes from DN10 to DN600 mm are standard, and larger or smaller sizes can be customized to your project's precise needs. Whether your application requires high temperature endurance or strong corrosion resistance, an appropriate material option is available.

Efficient Flow Regulation and Automation

With an electric actuator, these globe valves deliver precise flow regulation and fast, reliable shut-off. The short-stroke design enables efficient operation and reduced wear, while the forced-sealed structure enhances safety. Automation streamlines system control, making the valve suitable for integration into complex or remote-controlled pipeline networks.

FAQ's of Globe Valve / Bellows Seal Globe Valve, Stainless Steel, Butt Weld, Electric Actuated, Bellows Seal Structure, Steam/Corrosive Media, ASME B16.34 Standard:

Q: How does the bellows seal structure benefit this globe valve?

A: The bellows seal structure provides a hermetic seal, effectively eliminating leakage around the valve stem. This design not only ensures longer service life and reliability but also protects against media escaping into the environment, which is critical when controlling hazardous or corrosive substances.

Q: What media can this stainless steel globe valve handle?

A: This globe valve is compatible with a wide range of media, including acids, bases, gases, water, oil, and steam. By selecting the appropriate material variant (WCB, CF8, CF8M, or WC6), the valve can be optimally matched to the specific operational media and temperature conditions.

Q: When should I choose a hard seal or soft seal for the valve?

A: A metal hard seal, such as Stellite hardfacing, is ideal for high-temperature or abrasive applications, providing superior durability. A soft PTFE insert is better suited for applications with less demanding conditions where enhanced tightness and lower risk of seat damage are desired.

Q: Where is this bellows seal globe valve commonly installed?

A: These valves are commonly installed in pipelines within petroleum refineries, chemical processing plants, power generation facilities, and municipal water or steam systems, wherever precise shut-off and reliable sealing are required.

Q: What is the process for customizing the valve size or material?

A: To customize the valve, you provide your specific dimensional, material, or pressure requirements to the manufacturer or supplier. They will review the application details and produce a tailored solution that meets your precise system needs, from DN10 up to DN600 mm or even beyond.

Q: How does the electric actuator improve valve operation?

A: An electric actuator enables automated, precise control over valve opening and closing, reducing manual intervention and ensuring consistent performance. This feature is advantageous for system integration, remote operation, or frequent flow adjustments.
