1. Product Introduction

A ceramic valve is an industrial valve that uses special engineering ceramics (such as alumina AlO, zirconia ZrO, silicon carbide SiC, silicon nitride SiN, etc.) as the core flow and sealing components. It usually adopts a composite structure of metal body + ceramic internals, which balances structural strength with the corrosion and wear resistance requirements of the medium.

Designed for extreme conditions such as high wear, strong corrosion, high temperature and high pressure, it solves the common pain points of metal valves, such as easy leakage, high torque, and poor corrosion resistance of sealing surfaces. It is widely used in chemical, power, metallurgy, energy and other fields.

3. Main Component Materials

 Alumina (AlO): Hardness HRA8590; temperature resistance 800; low cost. Offers excellent corrosion resistance, good insulation, and high cost-effectiveness. Suitable for weak acids/weak alkalis and general wear scenarios (e.g., sewage, chemical acid/alkali).

 Zirconia (ZrO): Hardness HRA8285; high fracture toughness and thermal shock resistance. Best toughness and impact resistance with low thermal expansion coefficient. Ideal for slurry and high-wear anti-cracking scenarios (e.g., mining slurry, power plant ash).

 Silicon Carbide (SiC): Hardness HRA9095; temperature resistance 1200; good thermal conductivity. Extremely high wear resistance, high temperature resistance, and erosion resistance. Suitable for high-temperature, high-hardness particle, and high-wear scenarios (e.g., metallurgical mining slag, high-temperature flue gas).

 Silicon Nitride (SiN): Hardness HRA9092; temperature resistance 1000; corrosion-resistant. High strength at high temperatures, corrosion-resistant (except to hydrofluoric acid), and oxidation-resistant. Suitable for strong acid/alkali and high-temperature corrosion scenarios (e.g., chemical synthesis, nuclear power cooling).


4. Product Features

 Strong Corrosion Resistance: Resists strong acids and alkalis at pH 0.514 with an annual corrosion rate 0.01mm, and does not react with the medium.

 High Wear Resistance: Hardness HRA8895 (second only to diamond), with wear resistance 510 times that of metal valves, suitable for media containing particles.

 High Temperature Resistance: Works stably from -401650, with stable structure and low thermal expansion at high temperatures.

 Excellent Sealing: Ceramic self-lubrication plus precision grinding ensures zero leakage, with an external leakage rate close to zero.

 Long Service Life: Service life under extreme conditions is 210 times that of metal valves, with low maintenance costs.

 Good Self-cleaning: Smooth surface prevents scaling and jamming, reducing medium accumulation.
