3. Main Features

1. Sealing Reliability: Floating ball valves use double-inclined elastic sealing rings or V-groove elastic sealing rings to ensure reliable sealing. For low-pressure, ultra-low pressure or vacuum applications, plate spring-loaded seat sealing structures are adopted to ensure long-term reliable sealing. For medium/high-temperature ball valves, seat materials can be selected from PPL or metal materials.
2. Automatic Pressure Relief: When the pressure in the middle cavity rises abnormally, the medium in the cavity pushes the valve seat by its own thrust to automatically relieve pressure, ensuring the safety of the valve body.
3. Stem Sealing: The valve stem adopts a bottom-mounted structure with back-sealing. The sealing force of the back-sealing increases with medium pressure, ensuring reliable sealing of the stem. Additionally, the stem will not blow out if the valve cavity pressure rises abnormally.
4. Fire-Safe Design: According to working conditions and user requirements, ball valves can be designed as fire-safe, complying with API 607 and API 6FA standards. In case of fire damage to soft sealing rings, the fire-safe structure prevents large-scale medium leakage and further fire spread.
5. Anti-Static Structure: During operation, friction between the ball and seat generates static charges that accumulate on the ball. To prevent electrostatic sparks, anti-static devices are installed on the valve to conduct the charges away.
6. Locking Device: Lockable structures are designed at the fully open and fully closed positions of manual ball valves. This prevents misoperation and unintended opening/closing caused by unpredictable pipeline vibration, especially in flammable petroleum and chemical lines, as well as outdoor piping systems.
7. Full-Bore / Reduced-Bore Design: Available in two series to meet different needs:
   • Full-bore: The channel inner diameter matches the pipe inner diameter, facilitating pipeline pigging and cleaning.
   • Reduced-bore: Relatively lighter in weight, with fluid resistance only about 1/7 of that of a same-diameter globe valve, offering a wide range of applications.
