PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

A wafer-type butterfly valve with a worm gear is a core control valve in industrial fluid systems, driven by a worm gear reducer and installed between two pipe flanges in a wafer connection. Its core is a disc-shaped butterfly plate; rotating the handwheel drives the worm gear, which turns the plate 90 around the stem to shut off, open, or regulate fluid flow. Common body materials: ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless steel. Seals: NBR, EPDM, FKM, PTFE. Stem: hardened stainless steel.
